Introduction

Session performance analytics reveal how efficiently your sessions are running. By reviewing session minutes and individual session reports, you can optimize your configuration for maximum impact.

Session Performance Metrics Overview

While follower and engagement metrics measure your results, session performance measures how well your sessions run.

Both matter: good performance enables good results. Focus on making your sessions run reliably first, then optimize for outcomes.

Session Duration Tracking

This metric shows the total time your sessions have run.

What It Tells You: More session time means more opportunity for engagement and growth.

Comparing Duration to Results:

  • High Duration + High Growth: Optimal—your engagement is working efficiently
  • High Duration + Low Growth: Your configuration or targeting may need optimization
  • Low Duration + High Growth: Highly efficient—consider increasing session time to scale
  • Low Duration + Low Growth: You’re running too little activity—increase session frequency or duration

About Session Lengths: You configure how long each session runs (1 to 6 hours). If sessions consistently run shorter than configured, check for errors or review your per-session limits.

The Sessions Tab

The Sessions tab is a paginated list of per-session reports (newest first, 10 per page). Each row shows the session date and a status badge: “Closing” (orange) or “Session error” (red), or just the date when the session ended normally. There are no aggregate “sessions started,” “sessions completed,” “completion rate,” or “actions per session/min” counters—Influxie doesn’t surface those.

Open any row to read that session’s individual report. Per-session reports include the actions taken (followers, following, likes, comments, messages, stories watched) and the session duration.

Why This Matters: A run of “Session error” badges is the clearest signal something needs attention. Review the error detail in those reports, check your account status, and verify your configuration.

Note: Comment and DM data is tracked in the report data, but those features are switched off in the current UI and will be available in future releases.

Performance Over Time

Week-Over-Week: Compare performance to catch the immediate impact of changes and spot issues early

Month-Over-Month: Assess longer-term trends and evaluate your strategy’s effectiveness

Performance Trends:

  • Improving: More session minutes and fewer “Session error” badges—keep it up
  • Stable: Steady session activity with no major changes—consider testing optimizations
  • Declining: Session minutes dropping or a rising number of “Session error” badges—investigate immediately

Using Performance Data for Optimization

Optimization Framework:

  1. Analyze: Review the Session minutes line chart and the last several session reports. What’s working? What needs improvement?
  2. Identify: Seeing “Session error” badges? Focus on reliability. Sessions running shorter than configured? Check your configuration and account status.
  3. Change: Make one change at a time, document it, and set a 1-2 week review timeline
  4. Measure: Compare before/after results. Keep, adjust, or revert based on data.

Example Scenarios:

  • Repeated Session Errors: Review the error detail in the report, adjust configuration, and reduce aggressive settings. Reassess in 2 weeks.
  • Sessions Running Short: Check that your per-session limits and targeting aren’t too restrictive, and confirm your Maximum run time is set. Reassess in 1 week.
  • Inconsistent Results: Set a recurring schedule and standardize configuration. Reassess in 2 weeks.

Session Length by Account Age

Maximum run time is configurable from 1 to 6 hours per session. Newer accounts should start on the shorter end and build up over time; older, established accounts can safely run longer sessions. Influxie does not publish specific per-session action benchmarks—focus on your own consistency and account health.

Troubleshooting Performance Issues

Sessions Consistently Underperform (sessions stopping early, repeated “Session error” badges, low actions in reports): Check configuration settings, review error details in session reports, verify account status, and analyze targeting criteria. Adjust based on findings and test with conservative settings.

Sudden Performance Drop: Revert recent configuration changes, check account status, review error messages, and contact support if needed.

Best Practices

Do’s

  • Monitor Performance Weekly: Catch issues early and track improvement over time
  • Change One Variable at a Time: Know what causes performance changes and build understanding of what works
  • Document Your Findings: Note which configurations work best and track performance over time

Don’ts

  • Don’t Chase Maximum Actions: Safety first—moderate, consistent activity beats pushing volume
  • Don’t Ignore Performance Declines: Investigate immediately before small issues become big problems
  • Don’t Compare to Others: Every account is different—focus on your own progress
